8 Steps to Submitting a Podcast To Spotify

1. Go to Spotify for Podcasters and click “Get Started”.
Make sure you have your Spotify account credentials ready, you will need them to submit a podcast. If you don’t know what your account name and password is, you might want to change your credentials as you will need them in the future for analytics purposes.
2. Login to your account and click “Get Started” again.
Once you have your account information, login and click “Get Started”. Make sure you have your RSS feed ready, this is the key for podcast submission.
3. Agree to the Terms and Conditions.

4. Enter in your Podcast RSS Feed.

5. Verify your podcast with the 8-digit code.
Once you have requested a submission, an 8-digit code will be sent to the email address associated with your podcast RSS feed. If you don’t see the code come through immediately, check your spam folder. You’ll have one hour to verify before the code expires.
6. Enter your code on the next screen.

7. Add additional podcast details.
Just like when you upload a new episode to your RSS feed, you’ll want to add additional show details. This will help Spotify categorize your podcast and know where to place you in their listings.
